My name is Kareem Baher Haroun MD. I am a board certified Otolaryngologist- Head and Neck Surgeon. I am in a private practice group in Southlake and Flowermound.
Vision for DMMA and why members should vote for me
I have appreciated the tremendous growth both in membership and activity within DMMA in the past year. I think the website is a great step in expanding the networking utility of the group.
I would seek to continue the efforts to get more local networking events within DFWs sub regions as well as an annual fundraising event. I would also like to facilitate a more transparent insight to sister groups in other cities in Texas as well as nationally to support our members seeking to move elsewhere or support new incoming members in their search for opportunities coming to DFW. The website is a great avenue for this.
I see a future where this group not only serves the physicians in the community, but also the community as a whole. I would love to start programs that invest in supporting the mentorship of our youth.
