Aaminah Azhar, MD

Dr. Aaminah Azhar is a board-certified dermatologist with a focus on medical, general, and pediatric dermatology. A Dallas–Fort Worth native, she graduated magna cum laude from UT Arlington and earned her Doctor of Medicine with Honors Distinction from Texas A&M College of Medicine. During residency, she served as Chief Resident and contributed to education and quality initiatives through the Resident Council. She has authored peer-reviewed research, presented at regional and national meetings—including the American Academy of Dermatology and the Mark Allen Everett Skin of Color Symposium—and is an active member of the Skin of Color Society. Dedicated to community service, Dr. Azhar has volunteered in clinics serving underserved populations and led outreach programs encouraging students to pursue careers in healthcare. Outside of medicine, she enjoys skiing, pickleball, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
