Anas Athar

Hi, my name is Anas Athar and I’m honored to be your partner and orthodontist. I first became interested in dentistry as a child, but as I grew up, it turned into a passion the moment I realized what a big difference a dentist and specially an orthodontist can make in people’s lives. This drove me to meticulously study orthodontics, after completing my dental school I did my extensive orthodontic training at Saint Louis University. I am the only dual trained Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist and Orthodontist here in Texas.
Striving to consistently utilize the most leading-edge technology for my patients, I’m a leading Clear Aligner Provider who also specializes in various advanced imaging modalities like Cone Beam CT. At the end of the day, there is nothing more important to me than providing the newest and safest treatments for my patients so they can smile proudly no matter where they go.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my profession is how genuinely happy my patients are when their treatment is completed, and their beautiful new smiles are revealed. I’m also glad to see once-fearful patients excited to sit in the chair and strike up casual conversations with me. I would do anything and adapt any technology, new or old, that will produce best results for my patients.
During my 20+ years of being in the dentistry field, I have recognized by numerous awards. I’ve also been blessed with the opportunity to visit faculty at reputable dental schools nationally and internationally and feature at numerous national and international seminars. This keeps me up to date with new developments in orthodontics.
While I’m grateful to call Dallas, Texas home, I also like exploring new places just as much. When I’m not traveling, I love playing cricket and learning new things. Being the family man that I am, I enjoy spending as much quality time as possible with my loved ones. I am happily married to my lovely wife Samia and we are the proud parents of three beautiful children named Amna, Mustafa, and Maryam. Samia, Amna, Mustafa, and Maryam are my world and they inspire me to be my best version daily for the greater good of my patients, my community, and the world at large.
