Syeda Taliya Rizvi

I am Dr. Syeda Taliya Rizvi,  board-certified in Internal Medicine and currently working in primary care with Premier Independent Physician Group in Mckinney. I earned my medical degree from Dow Medical College and completed my residency at Advent Health Orlando, now the largest hospital in the USA. My residency began at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and spanned its entirety. This challenging period profoundly shaped me, both personally and professionally, making me a stronger and more resilient physician.
I am deeply committed to an empathetic approach in patient care, believing that truly listening to patients is half the treatment. My work includes multiple case reports and publications, and I have contributed to several quality improvement (QI) projects, one of which was recognized as a winner by the ACP Florida Chapter.
I hold medical licenses in both Florida and Texas. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews and exploring nature.
