Furqan Rizvi

Dr. Furqan Rizvi is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist currently providing psychiatric care at Frisco Mental Health Services. He also serves as Medical Director at the Mental Health and Wellness Center, Medical City Frisco. Dr. Rizvi specializes in medication management for a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, insomnia, ADHD, alcohol and opioid use disorders, schizophrenia, and dementia-related behavioral issues. Additionally, he offers office-based Suboxone treatment for opioid dependence and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression.
Dr. Rizvi completed his residency as Chief Resident at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He has held academic appointments as Associate Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern and Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Over the course of his career, he has taken on various administrative roles, including Medical Director positions at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Wellbridge Healthcare in Plano, University Behavioral Health in Denton, and Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco.
